Lee Seung-yeon first gained attention for her authentic and emotionally resonant portrayals of youth in short films. Her career reached a significant milestone in September 2025, when she was awarded the prestigious 'Actor of the Year' at the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) for her standout performance in the independent feature The Gorals. Recognized by critics for her "stable and proactive" acting style, she is considered a "next-generation prospect". In early 2026, she began her first major television role in the MBC drama In Your Radiant Season, marking her successful expansion into the mainstream industry.
