Sassan Saffari is half Persian and half English, Scottish, Irish, French, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, & Danish. A lot of halves. He was born and raised in Boston, MA. His Grandmother, Edith Conklin Weaver; a painter, poet, and lover of art, had a profound impact on his life, work, and growth as an artist. Throughout his time in the program, he was fortunate enough to win scholarships and awards through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and had the opportunity of performing in over thirty productions in San Diego; professionally and at his college. Through the Kennedy Center, he studied at Steppenwolf West with Laurie Metcalf, Jeff Perry, French Stewart, David Razowsky, Kim Rubinstein, Alexandra Billings, and countless others whom guided him to be the versatile actor he is today. He was also invited to The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a guest artist and award winner.
